We’re just two busy dudes with busy lives who have a lot of ideas we’ll only ever 70% complete. Which is the show. We don’t have a ton of time to do all the stuff we want, so instead, we’ve decided to focus, every other week, on what we want to. Sometimes that’s deep lore about Battletech, sometimes that’ll be a watchalong of TNG, and sometimes that’ll be reading Descartes and talking about it.
That may seem like a lack of focus to you, but it’s not. There are at least two previous codex episodes dealing with Jungian archetypes; I have videos I’m working on about Thomas More’s Utopia and Bioshock; we want to find ways to enjoy the things we already love, more. So that might be reading philosophy that can act as a lens through which we see Star Fleet, or it can be building replica furniture from Prey (2017).
There’s so little we can fully control in our daily lives right now and probably fewer avenues for true positive exploration, so that’s what 70% Complete is: something we wholly own and will allow us to take whatever dalliances we crave. 70% Complete is a project guided by enthusiasm, not a strategized content plan.

About us
Phil has been writing three quarters of sci-fi and fantasy novels almost his entire life and has no intention of stopping. He has worked for some of your favorite and least favorite companies as a UX writer, but that’s no guarantee of the quality of this site’s content design. By day, Phil is a stay-at-home dad and aspiring pastry chef, by night a writer, furniture designer, and now, podcaster.

Logan can be found attempting to find his next Black Ops 1 (14 years and counting), buying a server rack on a government auction site for less than $25, or figuring out the most ludicrous thing he can do with an Arduino and a couple toggle switches. He also plays the markets...in Old School RuneScape.
